In-reach mental health and therapeutic support for incarcerated individuals — fostering resilience, emotional growth, and a successful path toward rehabilitation.
Our in-custody therapy service connects your loved one with a licensed mental health professional — delivered via teleconference or telephone, approved across every Queensland correctional facility.
Sessions go beyond emotional support. We help participants understand the root causes of their behaviour, take genuine accountability, and build the tools they need to change. That progress can be formally documented in a court report — putting their growth on the record where it counts.
A flat rate for all patients including the following:
Each session is 45 minutes, delivered by an experienced mental health practitioner — CBT, trauma-informed, anger management, and emotional regulation.
A comprehensive report outlining therapeutic engagement and progress, with recommendations — available if required for legal proceedings.
Access to specialised programs relevant to individual needs — emotional regulation, anger management, relapse prevention, and personal development.
We provide evidence-based counselling tailored to the unique needs of individuals in custody. Sessions may include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-informed approaches, anger management strategies, and emotional regulation support. Our focus is on helping participants reflect on their choices, develop insight, and build healthier coping mechanisms.
Where permitted, therapy sessions are delivered via secure video platforms in private rooms within the correctional facility to ensure confidentiality. In facilities where video access is limited, we offer therapy via scheduled phone calls following the same structure and therapeutic goals — ensuring consistency and continuity of care.
While we cannot guarantee legal outcomes, our primary focus is on guiding individuals toward meaningful, lasting change. We address the root causes of behaviour, break unproductive patterns, and develop healthier ways of thinking. As a result, many legal professionals and magistrates recognise therapy engagement as a genuine sign of personal growth and accountability.
Referrals can be made by legal representatives (solicitors, barristers), family members, correctional staff, or the individual themselves. Contact our team and we will guide you through the process of arranging sessions within the relevant correctional facility.
